HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO AREN'T AS IMPORTANT AS ME!!! (just kidding) Okay, so far I've seen RENT about 4 times now, and I am still not sick of the movie. Is that weird? (Says the guy who saw Star Wars Episode 3 Clone Wars 7 times, each time in a different theater.) I'm not proud of that last fact. Anyway, for Amherst news, Saw Genshiken with UMJAMS. Pretty funny shit. Last night I saw RENT for the 4th time. When I got back to my dorm, I laughed my ass off at an episode of The Boondocks
on the [adult swim] Friday Night Fix. I thought it was amazing
that they had Samuel L. Jackson guest star in the episode, but the real
treat was that they quoted one of my favorite movies, Pulp Fiction
with the line, "Say 'what' again!" I love that scene. After
that, I went to go tell Eric about it, and walked in on Monty Python's The Life of Brian,
an excellent movie in every way. Just about every day lately I've
been watching Christmas specials on TV, like the other day I watched Home Alone 2.
It's been so long since I saw that movie, I never realized how many
celebrities made cameos in it, like Rob Shneider and Tim Curry.
Well, I'm gonna eat now. Kinda hungry. Then trudge up to my
dorm, maybe watch some Trouble Chocolate or something, take some Motrin for my back and my leg. I'm in sooo much pain, but that's another story.

i'm actually smiling. pretty unusual right? well, maybe
it's because i have a wonderful girlfriend who enjoys alot of what i do
(anime, cosplaying), and does a few things i always wanted to do
(horseback riding for one, *sighs and thinks to himself "Epona
^_^!!!"* so anyway, i'm back in amherst and the only thing that
would make it better was if Ceal was up here with me, but I'm going
home this weekend to work on christmas lights and see her cuz it's her
weekend off. I can't wait for her next weekend off so that she
might be able to come up and see me ^_^. well, i'm gonna go to
bed now, blog ya all later.
WARNING: Big update! Be prepared for shitloads of words! well, things
sure have been busy lately. Today is turkey day, but that will
come later. I was in NY on Saturday. BROADWAY
BITCHES! I went with the UMTG (Theater Guild). I went
everywhere in NY, and I mean everywhere. It's amazing, despite
the fact I've been living in the country since I've been born, I went
to NY and felt like a foreigner. I went to Broadway, saw all the
famous theaters (Gershwin and Shubert among others) The Opera
House (Home of the MTV VMA's), Nokia Theater as well, plus ads for
shitloads of broadway shows I would kill to see or be in (Spamalot,
Wicked, The Producers, Avenue Q, Chicago, Mamma Mia! and much much
more). I went to Times Square and looked around alot too, CBS
studios, Radio City Music Hall, Macy's, MTV studios, the Empire State
Building, Viacom HQ and took great pleasure when I walked by Fox News
NY's headquarters yelled, "You sack of lying bush ass kissers!"
(lmfao) We saw A Light in the Piazza. An
amazing musical, beautiful music, excellent setting, and I love the
plot. The costumes were dead on to the time period and the acting
was insanely skillful. Yep, those were the big leagues.
Well, I'm home for these holidays, and was greeted by a very welcome
sight, Ceal. ^_^ We're not going out yet, but y'know, who
knows. The two of us do have alot in common. I have to
laugh because I have a bunch of voices although I like to perform on
stage and on camera, I'd love to do voice acting as well. Ceal
too dreams of voice acting, plus she's a cosplayer (look at my anime
boston pics on yahoo (she's dressed as the Battousai)) I got to
see her the minute I got of the train from Boston to Lakeville (She
lives about a block away from the train station)
I think that's about it, I'm kinda distracted right now by Puffy Ami
Yumi on the Thanksgiving Day Parade. I would pay a million
dollars to see a Mario Float and balloon in the parade
eventually. The Pokemon Company finances the Pikachu balloon, so
why not a Mario Balloon with Mario dressed up as Santa? Or [adult
swim] mini-baloons with Master Shake, Frylock and Meatwad? I
CHALLENGE ALL PHOTOSHOP ARTIST TO GIVE ME YOUR BEST BALLOON OR FLOAT
PARRODY IDEAS!!! If nobody recieves the challenge, I think I
might just do it myself. lol
Have a happy thanksgiving everyone, May the holiday season begin!
I read Ross's blog today, I don't know why, I just
did. Wow, talk about starting the day off on the wrong
foot. I'm beginning to see why I stopped talking to him. He
just wasn't accepting my changes. People obviously change when
they go to college, fuck, people change all the time. My bro and
I are still bro's even though the two of us seem pretty
different. I know he caught me on an off day, that's for
sure. I realized I might have been a bit of an ass, but it seemed
like all he did when we talked was complain. Like for some weird
reason he could never have a good day. I got sick of it. My
life seemed miserable to begin with, why do I need other people's
misery to make the day worse. My life here at Amherst hasn't been
that bad, except for the fact that every weekend whenever I decide to
leave my dorm room I see ignorance run rampant with immaturity. I
hate to sound all high and mighty even though I'm only 18, but this is
just how I feel. Perhaps if I were to loosen up I would have a
chance at meeting new people and maybe possibly falling in love?
Whatever it is, all I know is that with membership
paid for Anime Boston, I'm ready for anything that comes my way right
now. UMJAMS (the Anime group on campus) wants me to run for
officership next semester. I laughed so hard cuz I'm always so
busy with UMTG (the Theater Guild.) One thing's for certain, I'm
pretty sure I won't be bored my sophmore year.
Lately I have felt nostalgic for the days of old,
talking about Sailor Moon in my last post.....watching Power Rangers
S.P.D. right now. I've been dreaming of dreams of olden days,
when I wanted to be on the Power Rangers so bad. I've been
dreaming of dressing up in the tight jumpsuits and helmets and kicking
ass the way that only Power Rangers could back in the day, putting my 7
years of martial arts training to use. But those are only
dreams. I've also been pondering the roots of my hopeless
romanticism. *begin rant* Damn you Disney cartoons and your
happy endings!!!! You hath warped my mind to thinking that life
always has a perfect romance, THAT'S NOT TRUE!!!! *end rant*
yeah, that should about do for now. I think I shall enjoy my
remaining weeks here for the semester, especially with the promise of a
sake party in the days to come ^_^ (courtesy of Mika.) Having
upperclassmen friends rules.
hey y'all, I got my hair colored recently. it looks so
amazing. the price was a bit much, but guaranteed, if i need
anything done for anime boston while i'm up here in amherst, hair wise,
i'm going to them. If you don't recognise this catchy little SNES
remix from www.ocremix.org then you aren't a real anime fan!!!
It's sailor moon ^_^. Old school....I love those
days of anime from yesteryear. "Fighting evil by daylight /
Winning love by moonlight / Never running from a real fight / She is
the one called Sailor Moon." Perhaps this show is one of the
reasons for my pathetic romanticism. I really don't know.
Well, here are the pics of my hair, like I mentioned before, let me
know what you think ^_^.
